Augmented Reality artwork at Belconnen Arts Centre

TreasAR is an augmented reality artwork of mine that is currently showing at Belconnen Arts Centre as part of the Hidden Treasures exhibition.

The exhibition showcases some of the hidden or unsung treasures of the Belconnen area, and my work is a collection of three physical “AR markers” at the gallery, and a freely downloadable app I designed that acts like a special camera. Point the app’s camera at the special markers at the gallery, and a 3D work will pop up on the screen, along with a brief description of that particular hidden treasure of Belconnen.

The exhibition is open 4-20 September at Belconnen Arts Centre, Canberra.
