Things have been pretty quiet with Pogg development for quite a while, but I finally did a much needed update to get it fully stable on iPads, and I’ve had some really heartwarming feedback about Pogg’s use in speech therapy for kids with language delays. Pogg is very much back in my mind, and there’s a lot more I would like to do with the app, as well as Pogg as a character and concept in general.
I’m looking to bring the joy of Pogg to people without an Apple iOS mobile, and to begin with I’m creating a desktop version of Pogg – Windows, Mac OS X, Linux. I’m not yet sure when these will be released (still working on them), but it will be before Christmas.
More news soon!
Hello! Is there now a desktop version? Thank you!
Hi Melissa!
I was working on a desktop version back in 2012, but never completed it.
Pogg and Pogg Cards are currently on iOS and Android, and I’ll probably just stick with those for now, as I barely find time to maintain those as it is.
Do you have a burning need for a desktop version? Or is it more of a cool bonus if you’re able to get it onto a big screen?
🙂 Ricky
